Newly circulated footage of Sean “Diddy” Combs inside FCI Fort Dix has offered an unexpected window into how the music executive is spending the holidays while serving his sentence. Even as he adjusts to life in federal custody, Diddy appears focused on supporting the men around him, channeling his influence toward small acts of community inside the prison.
TMZ reports that Diddy partnered with a prison group called the Bankroll Bosses to organize a Thanksgiving meal for roughly 1,000 incarcerated people. The effort, prepared over several days and delivered across multiple housing units, was intended to bring a sense of comfort to an otherwise stark setting.
Through his representatives, Diddy described the initiative as a joint effort with the Bankroll Bosses, involving commissary purchases and two days of steady preparation. The meal featured turkey, familiar sides like mashed potatoes and corn, and a spread of desserts sent throughout the compound. “Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat,” he said. “Everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holidays. We just wanted to come together as a family and do our own thing.”
A former gang leader known as B.I. helped coordinate the distribution. “We cooked the food and sent it to all the buildings,” he explained, noting that the team aimed to feed roughly 200 people in each unit. Despite limited equipment, the group managed the work through improvisation and shared responsibility.
Beyond the holiday preparations, Diddy has offered glimpses of how he views daily life behind bars. In a conversation with TMZ, he pushed back against common assumptions about incarceration. “There’s a lot of misinterpretations about prison,” he said. “There is a strong brotherhood. We all look out for each other. It’s nothing but a positive thing… It’s like a little bit of home in a dark place.”
Diddy is expected to remain at Fort Dix until June 2028, though the timeline has shifted due to rule violations. He may still qualify for reduced time through rehabilitation or program participation. The Thanksgiving meal has drawn notice not just because of Diddy’s public profile, but because of what it reveals about how he is moving through confinement.
